Age is just but a number....while the saying is true, we have to give ourselves the permission to feel wanted, attractive, beautiful, younger....perhaps 'ageless' would be the right adjective to use in this instance. Did you know that motherhood, pregnancy and labor can induce negative hormones into the woman's body and this, if prolonged, can cause stress and depression? Along with it come the new body shape, endless crying and sleepless nights. It's no wonder it takes many months for a new mother to feel good about herself again. This is a very real obstacle for new moms to overcome. On top of feeling like one's body has gone through battle, one has to contend with the feeling of unattractiveness, hopelessness which only amplifies the aging aspect of becoming a mother.
Therefore, moms should do everything within their power to overcome this feeling of helplessness by doing positive things and reminding herself that despite the fact that she has aged, she's still a woman...an attractive one at that.

One way to fight off the feeling of hopelessness is to use aromatherapy which is popular in spas.
It doesn't take much to make one feel good, come to think of it. There was one time when I bumped into an old friend I've not seen for ages, we embraced each other warmly. As we pull apart, he said to me, 'Man, you smell AND look really good!' That is the kind of praise-therapy mothers need.
Although it's not necessary for mothers to feel like she's attractive to all men but if a scent could make her feel many, many, MANY years younger, I say why not? Perhaps, one might argue, that there's no such thing as anti-aging anything on earth but what's the harm in using a scent to FEEL and ACT younger? Absolutely nothing.
And besides, this is just the thing to make a new mother feel more confident about herself. A happy mother equals a happy baby equals a happy father equals a happy family!
